Ruth Joined Landmark Canada in 2016, in our London, Ontario office, under the direct tutelage of her long-time personal friend, Sylvia van der Hoek. A native of Newfoundland and Labrador, where she is also licensed, Ruth was raised in an entrepreneurial environment and began her first business in her late 20’s. She has personally experienced being disabled and the financial woes which it brings to the self-employed, and has also witnessed it within her family as a child.
A resident of Waterloo Region, Ontario, Ruth has worked relentlessly to bring the news of these programs to the self-employed, to develop her business across southern Ontario. Understanding the vital importance of having a well designed disability protection in place as a business owner, Ruth has continued daily in her quest to develop awareness of this important service, welcoming and protecting many new clients over the years.
In her leadership role, Ruth has applied her knowledge and skills to teach and train others in the Landmark family, helping them to grow both professionally and personally, with integrity, principle, and honor.
